Art Lessons Design for children aged 3-6
Working Project
08/2023 - Present
Teaching Objectives
For children aged 3-6 years old, art education is an excellent way to develop an aesthetic sense, creativity and interest in art, helping to develop their imagination and hand-eye co-ordination, as well as improving their problem-solving and expression skills.
Our programme aims to build on the foundation of basic art education by introducing a variety of practical hands-on activities, including the production of a wide range of 2D and 3D dynamic works, aiming to develop children's handcraft skills, as well as to help them learn about changes in the natural world, such as the growth of plants, the metamorphosis of insects, astronomical phenomena, etc., and to stimulate their curiosity and enthusiasm for the world.
In the classroom, we will also teach waste modification and reuse designs, such as making artworks using used paper cups, straws, cardboards and other materials, in order to promote the awareness of sustainable development and develop children's sense of environmental protection and resource conservation.
Through understanding various patterns, shapes, colours and the wonders of nature, we will guide children in creative thinking exercises, encourage them to express their inner imagination in unique ways, exercise their artistic creativity and expressive skills, and stimulate their creativity.

Course Outline
Colour Journey: Develop your child's colour perception and patience by observing the changes of colours in nature and creating your own paintings of natural colours.
Shape Adventure: Observe different astronomical and geographical phenomena, simplify them into simple shapes and create interesting artworks to stimulate children's creativity and imagination.
Strange Brushes: Use used everyday materials such as sponges, old toothbrushes, straws, etc. as painting tools, feel the different textures of the paintings, combined with the observation of natural textures, to create multi-media art creations.
Transformation of old things: Use of waste plastic products to create three-dimensional art installations, to develop the children's creative ability, and at the same time to emphasise the reuse of old things and the concept of environmental protection.
Cultural Shuttle: Learn about the symbolic shapes and colours of Eastern and Western cultures, learn to create stylized artworks, and gain a deeper understanding of the stories of different cultures through drawing.
Creative Convergence: Develop your child's ability to make associations with simple words or themes, and combine them with a variety of techniques and themes to create unique and comprehensive works of art.
