Art Lessons Design for children aged 7-11
Working Project
08/2023 - Present
Teaching objective
Ages 7-11 are a prime time for children to learn about artists, drawing techniques and personal style. Our program is dedicated to fostering creativity by integrating professional skills, stories of artists from the East and West, global and Chinese art history, and national culture, which are skillfully integrated into interesting artworks to inspire creativity and deepen artistic and cultural understanding.
The curriculum aims to help children consolidate the fundamentals of art, including basic skills such as careful observation, line drawing, and rich coloring, as well as the study of a variety of drawing mediums such as acrylics, watercolor, colored pencils, Chinese painting, and collage. Children will be enthused and curious about diverse art mediums while enhancing their abilities and gaining a sense of fulfillment as they continue to learn and grow.
In the classroom, we will also introduce the instruction of transforming wasted objects, for example, using used paper cups, straws, toothbrushes, old clothes and other media to enrich the texture and meaning of the creation in the production of works. Children will be encouraged to break the boundaries of graphic arts, and at the same time develop a sense of environmental protection and resource conservation.
In addition to basic skills training and art appreciation, we also focus on developing creative thinking and associative creation skills, stimulating creativity and artistic expression, and guiding children to discover their own unique artistic style and create unique artworks.
